Hello,
I recently had an enginner setup some new access points on my WiFi. He named both 2.4G and 5G networks with the same name. I read somewhere that my printer operates on 2.4G and that, crucially there must be a 2.4G channel with a different name to the 5G one.
I've added a NEW 2.4G channel that sits alongside the other one. But still I have problems with the printer.
I can see it, but it shows that the drivers are unavailable. When I update the drivers (takes about 30 mins) the printer is showing out of paper.
I'm struggling to get the printer setup - help please?!

Welcome to the HP Support Community
I suggest you do a Hard Reset on the printer
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Update the firmware for the printer using this link: https://support.hp.com/za-en/product/hp-envy-5640-e-all-in-one-printer-series/6583033/document/c0291...
