Happened after a power outage and I've tried unplugging as directed but that didnt help. I deleted it from my computer, but the error code persists on the printer screen and I cannot reinstall. What can I do? (Besides upgrading to a new printer)

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are getting an OX83C0000A error, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

Unfortunately, that didn't help. The error button is always on the screen. I can't even turn the printer off with the power button, it just cycles back to the error message
