Product: HP Photosmart C4385 All-in-One Printer

I have a HP Photosmart C4385. The printer has been sitting unused for about a year. I tried printing after taking it out of storage, and it would only print blue or black. I replaced the color cartridge, but that did not fix the issues. I have run test prints and many alignments - did not work. I have restarted the printer and cleaned any spots within the printer that had thick ink, in case there was some sort of dried ink clog. Still didn’t fix it. How do I fix this printer to print magenta and yellow again? It was working perfectly before being in storage.

Hi,

Please remove the Tri-Color cartridge and stamp it over a tissue with its ink nozzles (see marked in red)

Can you see a clear mark of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow or only Cyan (Blue) color is shown?

 

Assuming you cannot see any other color from such a physical ink cartridge testing, this means that the problem relies with the ink cartridge itself.
