HP Envy 5546

I have had my HP Envy 5546 10 months and mostly print A4 photos on the same photo paper.  Recently the printer has not been printing the photo correctly even though printer settings correct for A4.  Today it has only printed half on the photo  and started to print half way down the A4.  I have tried everything I can think of print head cleaning, check allignment and rechecked printer settings,  Is there a problem with the printer grabbing the photo paper? thanks

Do you experience the same issue when making Photocopies?

 

Do you face this issue only with Photo Papers?

 

To assist you better please provide me with the OS installed on your computer

Thank you for your reply Krazy Toad.  When I am scanning the print seems okay and it is only with photo papers that the printing goes awry.  At best it cuts off 2 inches of printing leaving an empty space at the top of the A4 paper.  Sometimes it's as I said before only half of the image.  Do you think their is a problem with 'grabbing' the photo paper even though it is the same as I've always used.

Are you printing from your Phone or Computer?

 

It's its from a Phone, let me know if it's an iPhone or Android and if it's a computer, whether it's a Windows PC or Mac

Hi - Usually I print from my laptop which uses Windows (the way I have always printed photos) but have tried using my Android mobileas an alternative  and the same error occurs although I did have one photo print correctly before it resorted to half a photo once more!

Please update the Firmware from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-5540-all-in-one-printer-series/5447939/mode...

 

Also follow the instructions in Step 5 from this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04348351 to manually clean the paper feed rollers

 

You can also try using the HP Smart App to print.
