HP Recommended

My printer is out of warranty for years but has been a workhorse with me using aftermarket ink cartridges for several years. I could always tell it to print anyway without a problem.  Now it shows "ink system failure" and won't print.  At this point, I don't want to buy a whole set of HP ink cartridges and risk it not working.  It is time to dispose of the printer?  Do I have any options?  The reset won't work.  Photosmart C7250

HP Recommended

Don't waste money on new cartridges, the printhead failed, the cost of repair will be higher or close to a new printer.
