t Hello guys!
When I print a photo, I see some lines on the paper, something like an overlap maybe, as if the cartridges are not aligned, but at the same time when I print a text paper with some colorful graphs and tables, it works pretty well, means that I have this problem just when I print a photo. Also, when I print a picture in a photo paper, these lines are more clear, but on a normal paper, though I have them yet, they are a bit thinner than the lines on a photo paper.
I tried "Align" and "Clean Printhead" already. I even put the printer on the floor because on the table it's shaking. But none of them helped me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @scorpion13, I am the Mr.Robot. It looks like you were interacting with @senan6806, but he is out of the office today, so I'll take over from here.
I appreciate your efforts for writing back to us.
As you mentioned when you print an alignment test page it prints fine.
Have you tried printing using a different brand paper?
Have you tried checking with a different ink cartridge?
Does the issue persist while making a copy of your printer?
Try updating the MAC OSX to the latest version and check if it helps.
Replace low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on your printer.
Also, try the steps recommended below.
Check the print settings for your print job in MacOS or OS X.
-
Open a document, click File, and then click Print.
The Print window opens.
-
Select the Paper Type/Quality or Media & Quality menu.
-
Depending on your print job, you might consider modifying the following settings:
-
Paper type: If one of the options matches your paper type exactly, select that option.
-
Quality: If you are dissatisfied with the quality of your printouts, increase the print quality. To print more quickly, decrease the print quality.
To save your settings for future print jobs, select Save in the Presets menu and then name the new preset.
-
Try to print.
If the issue persists while making a copy from your printer. It is a hardware issue with the printer or the ink cartridge.
Let me know if this helps!

Thank you for being a part of HP Forums. I'd like to help.
Power resetting the printer, performing an automated and manual cartridge cleaning may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:
1) Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector
2) Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door
3) Remove the power cord from the back of the printer (Do no press the power button)
4) Clean the electrical contacts, refer to step 4 from this document.
5) Plug the power cord back into the printer
6) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges.
7) On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .
😎 Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.
9) Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue. Touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. Repeat these steps for the third cleaning stage.
10) On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .
11.) Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.
12.) Touch Align Printhead, and then touch Continue.
Let me know how it goes!

Dear Senan6806;
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately it didn't work and I can see the same result. It's very strange because on align test paper and cleaning headprint everything look normal. Also, these lines are very clear when I print a photo but almost invisible on a paper with text only.
Any other solution?
Kind regards

Dear MrRobot,
Thanks for your help. I followed your suggestions and it seems it works pretty well now. I don't know what was the reason because I updated the OS and also tried to set the "Paper" option on "Photo paper" and also I set the quality on "Best" option. I'm satisfied with the printed photo now. Thanks for your time and great support.
Kind regards
