PLEASE HELP!!! 

 

So a friend gave me his HP DeskJet 2652 printer. I bought the ink for it and the paper and now i am trying to do the initial setup but i am getting a message to install the setup cartridges which I don't have. Is there any way to override that part of the set up process? I have already invested $45 dollars into this printer and I have tried to contact support but all they do is transfer me.

Welcome to HP support community.

 

There is no option to override the setup cartridges error.

When setting up a new printer, you must install the SETUP ink cartridges that came with the printer. If the printer came without SETUP ink cartridges, return it to the retailer.
