Hi Community!

I have a desk jet all in one 270p series that just stopped printing. Even when putting in a new cartridge, it prints blank pages.

Also has an icon on screen that looks like a printer & cell phone merged.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

@LT981, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP DeskJet All-in-One 2700 Series Printing Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP DeskJet All-in-One 2700 series printer is outputting blank pages, there are a few steps you can take to diagnose and potentially fix the issue:

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the new ink cartridges are installed correctly and have removed any protective tapes.
  • Verify that the cartridges have ink. Even new cartridges can occasionally be faulty.

Printer and Cell Phone Icon:

  • The icon you described indicates a connection or status update might be needed. This usually relates to wireless or Bluetooth functionalities. Ensure that your printer is connected properly to your network.

Run Print Head Cleaning:

  • Sometimes the print heads can become clogged. Use the printer's software on your computer to run a print head cleaning cycle. This is usually found in the maintenance section.

Check for Driver Updates:

  • Make sure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your device. Visit the HP Support site to download and install any new updates.

Check Connection:

  • If using wireless, ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
  • Try connecting via USB to see if the issue persists, which could indicate a network-related problem.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve random errors.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
