I recently updated my windows 10 operating system....since then, the printer prints slow only when I print via wireless connection.
I have never had this problem since the recent update for windows.
If if I connect the printer via USB cable, it prints fine. The copier end of things prints fine.
Problem only exists when connected via wifi. My wifi signal is very strong. I’m using an ASUS RT-AC68U router and the firmware has been updated for this router.
I tried removing and reinstalling the HP software and drivers.
I’ve done numerous hard boots on my printer and router.
This is obviously related to the wifi printing end of things.
Does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi! @gags,
Have you tried printing using a different application?
Is the printer connected by a wired or a wireless connection?
Does the issue persist using a wired connection?
Update the printer firmware to the latest version and check if it helps.
Refer this article to know more information about updating the printer firmware. Click Here
Resetting the printer can resolve some types of slow printing issues.
-
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
Wait at least 60 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
-
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Try to print.
Also, Please try the steps recommended below.
