Page Numbers Add Automatic

I just got a new computer with Windows 10, was using windows 7 on old computer.  Using Hp8710 printer. With the windows 7 each page would print the page number on each page auto, now with windows 10 I have to set it up each time thru word or documents. Surely there is a place where you can set it up one time and it will auto put the page number.

Welcome to HP support community.

Follow these steps to print page number in Word document.

1. Open the Word document which you want top print
2. On the View menu, click Header and Footer.
3. Click the Print Settings tab.
4. Under Headers and Footers, click Header or Footer.
5. In the Insert AutoText box, do one of the following: ...
6. To test how your changes will look on the printed form, click Print Preview.
