I had to cancel some pages that were due to print, (due to lack of paper!), I think that these pages are still counting in my monthly page count. Does this reset at any point to remove the unprinted pages?

Thanks

Hi,

Only printed pages count towards your page count with instant ink. However, even if only a few letters are printed this will still count as one page.  If no ink was laid down, it doesn't count as a page.

Hi. Actually, I do not believe this is correct. On more than one occassion, we have pressed "print", only to then cancel the printing - with the result that NO pages were printed, but the print-count still registerd them.

E.g. yesterday my count was about 60 pages, and my wife started printing a 30-page document. Pressed cancel and only one page printed... yet the count on my HP page counted all the pages as printed and has now registered 90 pages towards my monthly allowance.

This should never be the case.

I'm sure it shouldn't ever be the case. Alas, it seems to be the case.

Again, today we have been out literally all day. When checking in this evening now, the HP site tells me that today (!) we've been printing 9 pages, though no one has been anywhere near the computer or printer - and it hasn't been offline so cannot be that it's late registering pages from another day.

Quite frustrating as my count therefore is that we must have printed somewhere 60-70 pages out of my monthly 'allowance' of 100 yet according to HP I'm now being charged for additional packs.

And, I cannot easily seem to find anywhere on the website to actually contact HP support service to have this looked into - how do i reach them pls?
