Page throw issues

This HP 6950 has not thrown the paper correctly from new its now about 3 months old. Initially I though it was a setup problem but all print options are set to A4 paper and I have downloaded and reinstalled the drivers twice and run the HP repair tools program. If you are printing say 6 pages then page 1 prints ok then near bottom of page 2 it throws the page early and prints last bit on third page. Then prints page 4 throws a blank page starts page 5 and throws this early finishing print on page 6 and so on. I cant say the throws are the same every time but I cannot print several pages without this type of problem occurring. The printer is attached to a Dell Desktop via a USB cable I can print to other HP printers on the network without this problem Any ideas or is it just a faulty printer? thanks Mike

Hello, 

In order to narrow down this issue, could you try making Multiple copies ( say 5 ) of document and check if the issue still persists.

Yes the problem is the same with multiple printouts I printed a 5 page document several times 1st page printed ok pages 2/3/4/5 threw new page early printing 1or 2 lines or just the page number that was on the bottom of that page on a subsequent sheet
