During a single paper print job a paper jam occurred. The error message read: Remove the rear access panel or automatic teo-sided printing accessory from the back of the printer, and then clear the paper. If requred, open the front cover or ink catridge acess door and clear any paper. Touch OK when done.
The Paper Jam error message keeps reappearing and won't go away!! Help!

Hello,
Kindly remove the back cover of the printer, and check the status of a black plastic mechanical sensor as displayed in below picture encircled in blue. Your printer would have only one sensor only.
Check if it is freely moving and getting back to its vertical position when pressed.
If it is stuck or broken , then the printer need to be serviced.

I was able to get the message to go away by disabling Windows control of the printer. Then I downloaded the current HP software. Rebooted the computer. And the message was gone; I was able to print.
I knew the problem was in the laptop's memory somehow, since I was able to hookup another computer and get it to print without issue.
Unfortunately, I did spend time trying all of the mechanical fixes first.
