I have a a printer Hp LaserJet 234 SDW.It shows ER 05(seems it's a paper jam)I checked all three compartments, and no paper was found. Power cycle the printer. clean the rollers. Still, it shows the same error message. Press and hold the x (cancel) while powering on for a factory reset. All the instruction found is not able to solve the paper jam issue. Run the Print and scan doctor. Hope to get help

Hi @PREMm11
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
When a jam occurs in the toner cartridge area, the control panel displays an alternating Er and 05. Remove any jammed paper that is accessible from the toner cartridge area.
Turn off the printer.
Open the cartridge access door.
Remove the toner cartridge.
If you can see the jammed paper, carefully grasp the jammed paper, and slowly pull it out of the printer.
Install the toner cartridge.
Close the cartridge access door.
Turn on the printer.
Try to print again.
If the error persists, check for jammed paper in another area of the printer.
Sometimes a paper jam error persists even though there is no jammed paper (false paper jam).
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the power source.
Wait 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
note:
HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Try to print again to make sure the hardware functions correctly. If the problem persists, it confirms this is a hardware issue with the printer.
