Hi @FabienLux ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are getting the paper jam error without an actual jam is a common issue with printers, and it can be frustrating.
Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:
Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.- Check for Paper Bits: Even if you don't see a jam, check for any small bits of paper or debris in the paper path, including the input tray, output tray, and around the rollers.
- Inspect the Rollers: Sometimes the rollers can get dirty or worn. Clean them gently with a lint-free cloth and some water. Make sure they’re not worn down, as that could cause issues.
- Reset the Printer: If the error persists, try resetting the printer to factory settings. Refer to your user manual for specific steps on how to do this.
- Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can usually find the latest firmware on the HP support website. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor: This tool can help diagnose and fix printer issues. You can download it from the HP support site. HP Print and Scan Doctor

I hope this helps.
