I just bought a Deskjet 2842e like 2 days ago. The setup was pretty easy everything went good until…If I print with a normal printing paper everything goes as it should if it’s a paper with the 3 holes on the side the printer doesn’t accept to print and just give me back a white paper ! I tried everything even to reset to the factory defaults. Help me please am very lost .

The printer is perhaps not able to print on paper with holes.
Consumer printers, particularly top-loading types, are likely less forgiving about paper sizes and paper types.

It may be that the holes line up with a critical sensor. Tray printing with the holes on the opposite side of the feeder.
