I have a persistant E3 error message on a printer HP Envy 6034, I have followed all instructions re removing obstructions and checking the carriage movement, all seems to be fine but the error message continues. I have tried unplugging, turning off and on etc but to no avail. Please provide any further guidance. Thanks.

Thanks Raj, I was able to ascertain through the blinking lights and error codes that the error message has to do with the actual cartridges and not the carriage itself. When I took out one of the ink cartridges and left the other in, the error messages stopped and I was able to print an information page. I did this with both cartridges and no error message when only one cartridge was there. With both cartidges in together, the error messages came back. It appears I may have to replace the black cartridge even though it's not entirely empty.

I have had exactly the same issue! With 1 cartridge in (doesn't matter whether it's colour or black) my printer works, but with both cartridges in, it won't work?
I don't get it? I've even put new cartridges in and it's still doing the same thing?
Have you solved this issue?
