Does anybody know why my printer doesnt feed the photo paper properly.
If I use a thin photo paper or normal plain paper it picks up fine and the whole picture is printed OK. However, I have bought some 260gsm gloss photo paper and it doesnt pick up properly. I end up with a big border at one end and the other cut off. I have cleaned the pick up rollers but still no joy. Any ideas????

Some places to check / adjust:
Although the paper is within the Specifications for Photo Paper (max is 280 g/m), the paper itself may be the issue:
- Paper too damp > replace paper
- Paper too dry > replace paper
- Paper is not of sufficient quality (brand is not always a factor) > replace paper
- Paper is "stuck together" > remove paper, fan, place paper back in tray
- Paper is the wrong type for this printer (paper must be of type "Ink Jet" as opposed to "laser")
- Paper Media type selection is some form of "HP Photo Paper" and the brand of paper is not HP
If you have not done so -- or if you have recently migrated / changed Operating Systems, please do install the Full Feature Software for your printer.

The Printing Preferences may need to be adjusted for Media Type (kind of paper).
Depending on how you are submitting the job to the printer, Printing Preferences are (can be) set via the Printer setup, or through the program you are using to print the photo.
Examples:
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers > Right-Click on your Printer >
Printing Preferences > tab Paper / Quality > Select Media type

From within Windows 10 Photos program:
Open Photos > open / select your photo > Click "..." (settings) >
Print > Under Type >
Select Other Photo Papers OR one of HP Photo papers available for your printer >
Adjust other settings > Print
Try HP Photo Creations -- this program can help pre-set your options to create photo prints in a variety of sizes.
