Photo Printing issues

Every time I try to print a photo it tells me that it changed the paper to the main printer paper because "Photo tray was changed because of a conflict with another printer setting" Ive tried restarting the printer, the computer and using HPs problem scanner. nothing is working.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

To better assist you - What's the operating system installed on the computer? 

While you respond to that, try a printer reset -

1) Take out the cartridges. 
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall. 
3) Wait for 30 seconds.  
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector. 
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Also, try making a copy - 

Place the paper in photo tray and remove any other papers from the tray and try to perform a copy and check whether your printer is able to make the copy.
