Photo printing

Dear experts.   I use an HP Deskjet 2510 All in one printer.  I have photos on file, and when I try to print them, they come out pink?   They are black & white photos?  Your help would be much appreciated.  I have replaced the black cartridge, with HP of course, and carried out a full cleaning programme.  Normal printing and the test page are perfect.

Hi! @fisherman99, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand that when you try to print a photo they print in pink instead of black and white.

Please try performing a copy function on your printer and check if the issue persists.

If the copy function works fine, please uninstall printer drivers from your PC and install the latest printer driver from this link.

If you have an issue with copying then refer this article to troubleshoot print quality issues.

Dear Mr Robot,  Thank you for taking the trouble to answer my Question re pink printing.  I followed your instructions and although it was not straight forward, following your guidance, I was able to download the update for my printer.  I then tried to print a photo, and guess what, it came out pink again.   I was now getting desperate.  Then by luck I found another print problem on this discussion board, and it said that some printers will not work if the colour cartridge is empty.  Although it printed in colour on the test page, as a last resort I changed the colour cartridge as well.  SURPRISE SURPRISE,

my photo print came out black and white.
