Product: HP ENVY Inspire 7920e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am installing a brand new printer. Every time I turn it on it performs its setup check and gets to the bit where it checks the photo tray, the photo tray moves, then the printer makes a loud noise, as though something is trying to be moved which should not be moved and the following error is shown:

 

Photo Tray Problem

 

The photo tray is blocked. Please adjust the tray and try again.

 

 

I have removed all the tape and cardboard during setup. I have watched the relevant videos. The paper tray is fully shut. I cannot see anything wrong with the photo tray, it moves fine. I cannot see anything that might block it. I have even tried updating the firmware, but that would not download. This is preventing me from doing any printing. If this is not resolved I will just have to return the printer.
