Product: Envy 7640 printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 7640 printer is giving the 'photo tray problem' message and won't work. I notice that in a previous message the HP agent Jeet_Singh resolved it for others by sending instructions on how to do an Advanced Reset. Could someone send me this information as no other methods have fixed this problem.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here

And if the issue still persists, perform Semi full reset on the printer.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer which is particular for your printer model. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
