Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

ink system failure error oxc18a0406

Hadn't used the printer for quite a while, and got expired ink message, so I spent $82 on the 6 cartridge set, but

now getting the error code that the ink system has failed and can no longer print. it will not allow me to clean the 

print heads, or print test page. I have rebooted the printer several times, including unplugging all power connections, 

and now I'm stuck.

HP Recommended

The ink has dried in the delivery system & printhead.

There is no fix for for this type of problem.
