I'm trying to print an A5 document on A5 paper in tray 1 of my Officejet Pro X576dw. I've set the paper size to A5 in both Word 365 and in the HP printer driver, and set two-sided printing to Flip Over in both places, but keep getting a message to say there is a conflict in settings. If I continue, the printer prints the document single-sided. I've tried setting the default tray 1 paper size on the printer to A5, too, with the same result. Have successfully prnted this document on this printer previously, so it looks like a change in the driver to me which has messed things up.

According to the user manual, A5 is not supported for auto duplexing,
You would need to feed the paper through twice to duplex on A5. This is due to the length of paper required to properly interact with rollers inside printer that allow for auto duplexing.

Thanks for your reply. I have to say I'm pretty amazed that a printer which sold for over £500 can't complete a pretty simple and standard task like this. I eventually printed my document on a 10-year old, £70 HP Envy 5530, which had no problem at all completing the task.
