I'm having an issue with my HP Photosmart D110 series printer on my Dell laptop running Windows 11 (64-bit). When I print a document, it prints successfully, but the job remains in the queue with a status of “Printing.” If I try to cancel it, the job gets stuck in a “Deleting” state for approximately 20 minutes before it finally clears.

Only after this delay does the next item in the print queue begin printing, which causes a major slowdown when trying to print multiple documents.

Troubleshooting Attempts:

  • Uninstalled the printer and all associated driver software

  • Reinstalled the printer using the HP Photosmart D110 series Class Driver

  • Issue persists after reinstall

System Info:

  • Device: Dell laptop

  • OS: Windows 11 x64

  • Printer: HP Photosmart D110 series (HP74995A)

  • Driver: HP Photosmart D110 series Class Driver (v10.0.17119.1, Type 4 - User Mode)

  • Print Processor: winprint

  • Port: WSD

I would appreciate any help resolving this print queue delay issue.
