I keep getting the Print System Error.
I have followed the on board diagnostics and instructions and that did not make a difference.
I changed all the print cartridges for new ones and that did not make a difference.
I changed the the print head for a new one and that did not make a difference.
I have downloaded the HP diagnostic tool and that did not make a difference.
And yes I have carried out a power reset according the instructions given and advice from this forum and it still has not made a difference.
It seems that even after changing the print head and cartridges the printer does not do a self check and the message stays on the screen. The only time it doesn't appear immediately is after a power reset but it is the first message to appear after I powered it back on.
It's as though the error message needs purging from memory. Is there a key sequence to do a factory reset? Or is the probability of a component fault causing the message?
One last thing - can anyone tell me what the error code (0xc19a003e) actually means (not just Print System Error)

Thanks for the reply Flower_Bud however, your private message just told me to contact my local HP Support people. This entails me paying £18 just to get to speak to someone. I would be annoyed if then I was told a simple key sequence to reset the printer. Or even more annoyed to be told it needs to be sent in for repair.
What I really need to know is
a) can I purge the error message so I could at least use the printer as a scanner?
b) if it is likely to be a hardware issue is it possible to buy the part and fit myself
c) Is is really worth repairing it as I can buy another for 130 euros.
