Trying to print on individual 3 X 5 index cards. Cannot get the paper tray to accept the cards. We've tried the main tray and the photo tray.
The machine will not recognize the photo tray to allow me to feed 3 X 5 cards through it.
Thanks for your help.

Printer Software
The Full Feature Software should be installed.
If you have not done so,

Paper Size & Type - Custom Paper Size Form
The printer might support 3x5 inch Index card paper size as a Custom Paper Size.

Size Supported?
What? I found some conflicting information when comparing the data provided in the Specifications document to another source. It is possible the smallest supported custom paper size is 3.85 X 5 inches.
?
Which Tray?
Even if the little 3x5 inch size is supported, it is unlikely that the Photo Tray can be used.
Photo Trays generally have strict rules about paper sizes AND the paper type(s).
Assuming the little cards meet the specifications for paper size, type, and weight,
Load the cards into the main tray, short side front / back, print side down.
True - Even when supported, it can be a challenge to get the cards to feed correctly.
For example, Ensure the printer is very clean.
Cleaning instructions are included in this document: Paper Jam Error

Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper
Not sure you can add this size to the printer control panel -- you might be able to add size "Custom"
Note: Custom size is not an available selection in all printers.
What?
If supported, use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to configure / adjust Tray and Paper settings.
If the size you need is not in the list, scroll to the bottom of the list -- if available, select "Custom"
EWS – Browser
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management
Model Dependent:
- No Size > Select “Custom” Note: Not all printers support size “Custom”
- Advanced section > General Tray, Default Paper, Default Tray, Tray Lock
Click Apply to save changes

Printing Preferences
If the (Custom Paper) size form is accepted, look for it in Printing Preferences.
- When called from within printing software / applications, Printing Preferences might be called "Printer Properties" / "Shortcuts" / “More Settings” / “Properties” / "Printer Setup" / "Presets" or similar.
