Microsoft Windows 11

The printer was working last night, but when I went to print this morning, all I got was a blank screen, and all the Icon lights were on around the display. I powered it down for an hour, and when I powered it back up, it made sounds like the normal startup, but the HP logo never appeared on the display, and all I got were these lights. Man, this is the 2nd HP printer with issues, 1st my plotter, and now the laserjet. Help? I cannot find a manual for troubleshooting it.

I tried that, to no avail, and then I replaced the CF224-60001 Formatter Board, and all is good; thank you for your help and response.

Hi @fkersh,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are facing issues with the printer not powering on.

This could be a hardware/ or power supply issue.

Make sure the printer is connected to the main wall outlet.

I suggest you do a Hard Reset

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue. (remove the cartridges)

(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.

(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

If the issue persists, I recommend you contact phone support for service options.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
