I own an HP OfficeJet 7612. Recently it has come up with the error message “ There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn the printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP.“ prefaced with the error code ink system failure. I have removed and re-inserted the ink cartridges several times. Have also replaced printer head with a new print head. Error continues. Any suggestions?

@5footsnowman Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are getting a print head missing error.
Please perform the hard reset and check.
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed
Also, refer to the below link to troubleshoot the issue.
