Hi,
I've tried everything under the sun to resolve this issue, so it's definitely not an ID10T error.
Just installed a pair of new 680 cartridges, and ran the alignment test (thrice!), clean test, and smear test, yet even a simple B&W print continues curving/skewing/bending downward at both the edges.
Would be great if someone could give me a solution. Thanks!

Hi @alok_yepuri
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the print quality issue.
To better assist you -
1) Are you experiencing this issue while making a copy as well?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?
- Make sure the paper loaded in the input tray is aligned to the paper-width guides. If needed, pull out the input tray from the printer and reload the paper correctly, making sure that the paper guides are aligned correctly.
- Load paper into the printer only when it is not printing.
While you respond to that, let's try these steps to reset the printer -
1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi Asmita,
Thanks for your solution. And sorry for the delayed response.
On a hunch, I directly skipped to the resetting the printer bit and it worked like a charm.
That said, I should explain why I skipped 1 & 2.
1. This issue cropped up randomly when copying, so I knew it was still there.
2. Till the replacement of the cartridges, I didn't have any problem printing from either of my devices – Android phone, MacBook Pro, and Windows 10 laptop.
Lastly, my printer has auto-update enabled, so it is always up-to-date. Plus, as a part of my weekly maintenance, I make sure my Windows 10 laptop is up-to-date as well, which includes all HP updates, including printer firmware updates.
Thank you.
