Product: HP DeskJet 2624

When I print out documents to review and try and use a highlighter to make notes on said document the ink just smears across the page.  I've tried different paper and waiting amble time to allow the ink to dry.  Is there anyway to fix this?

The following might be an older version of newer documents on the 'net.

The fix is to change your highlighter pen.

 

 

InkJet ink can smear when highlighted.

Consider using a “gel” type highlighter:
