Model : ENVY 5030
Mode : One Cartridge Mode
Problem : Even if color (Tri) cartridge is not installed on my printer, there is an error message link with color cartridge
* Error Message : "remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge making sure it is correctly installed without cartridge" .
* Indicated ink cartridge was color onn
And then, when I tried to print something on this condition, just only half of them was printed.
(Rest of half page was blank page)
As color cartridge was not installed on my printer, I couldn't follow the error message direction (remove and reinstall)
But, I tried several way to solve the issue described in the Website, but it failed.
And as currently I don't have color cartridge, I do not have an option to install color one to fix the issue
Please support and tell me how I can fix it

Hi @kjh104565
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "color cartridge error" issue.
Try the steps below -
Let's try a power reset on the printer-
Reset the product( remove the black cartridge and then perform the reset)
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
- insert the cartridge
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
