Tried to print a single page. After a few minutes of the ink system moving back and forth I got the following error.
"There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn off, then on. If problem persists contact HP"
Very vague. Any thoughts? Is this contacting HP?

I understand that you are having issues with the Printer Error on Officejet Pro 8600.
If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, either the cartridges are faulty or the printer mechanism might have gone bad.
