Printer Error "A problem has occurred with your HP account and you will be unable to print until the issue is resolved. I have searched everywhere I can think to figure out what to do, how do I fix this?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with your printer that has an error.

Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.

 

  1. Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
  2. Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, click Start, and then choose your printer.
    • If your printer is not listed, turn it on and click Retry.
    • If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in the tool.
  3. If a screen displays prompting to turn on printer updates, click Yes and continue.
  4. If a screen displays prompting to make your printer the default printer, click Yes and continue.
  5. If you are still facing printer offline problem follow HP Printers - Printer is Offline (Windows)

Hi @Maze0708,

 

I am sorry to hear that the above steps did not help much but i do appreciate your efforts in performing the troubleshooting steps.

A) Please follow the steps below to further troubleshoot.

 

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges

 

B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.

 

C) If the issue still persists, Refer to the step "Why am I unable to print with HP Instant Ink cartridges" from this link to further troubleshoot.
