My printer no longer allows me to print wirelessly from my phone like it has for the past two years. Now when we print, it says paper jam. In addition, we have to download and save every document as a pdf prior to printing. Lastly, I'm currently trying to print a word document and it just says "spooling" in the printer que

Hi @Kristen7990
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're dealing with a few issues with your printer, including problems with wireless printing, paper jam errors, and spooling issues. Let's break these down and troubleshoot each issue one by one to get your printer working properly again.
1. Wireless Printing Issue
You mentioned that your printer no longer allows wireless printing from your phone. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially fix this:
Check Wireless Connection
- Ensure the Printer is Connected to Wi-Fi: Make sure your printer is still connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone. You can check this on the printer's control panel (most printers have a wireless icon that shows the connection status).
- Restart Router and Printer: Sometimes the problem can be due to network issues. Try restarting your Wi-Fi router and printer to re-establish the connection.
- Reconfigure the Printer’s Wi-Fi: If the wireless settings have changed, or if your printer has lost connection, go into the printer's settings menu and reconnect it to the Wi-Fi network.
Update Printer Firmware
- Some printers require firmware updates to ensure compatibility with certain devices or printing apps.
- Check the printer manufacturer’s website for firmware updates for your specific model.
Reset Network Settings (Optional)
- If you're still having trouble, you can reset the network settings on the printer and then set up the wireless connection again from scratch
I hope this helps.
