Hello,

 

I have tried all the help listed on http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01458034 without an success. I have reset my printer numerous time but still I getting the same error message. Is there anything else I can try or is it time to get a new printer?

Hi Chris_P7,

You are reading the correct document to troubleshooting Ink System Failures for your printer.

 

If the issues is still not resolved you can purchase a replacement printhead which is step 10 in the document you attached.

 

However, there is a cost associated with this part.  It may not be worth it to you to invest in an older printer that may or may not continue to work after replacing this part. 

 

It may be time to purchase a new printer that will at least come with a warranty.

I am having the same issue since yesterday.  My Photosmart 5515 printer is giving me 0xc19a0042 error.
What are the steps to recover from this?  
I just bought a new set of inc cartridges (week ago).  
And it was working perfectly 2 days ago.  What is going on?  

Everytime I try to open this link I get a blank page:

Hi patrickl1,

I'm sorry the link I provided to the documentation is not working for you.  It works fine on my end.

You may want to try doing a Google search just for the document ID C01458034.  Another option woudl be to try an alternate browser like Chrome? 

 

Some of the steps to recover are to unplug the unit for 60 seconds after it has been turned on.  There are also manual steps to clean the ink cartridge vents and print heads. 

 

Let me know if there is more information that I can provide.
