Printer Failure, Event Code 57.01.00. Have chatted with HP and followed instructions. So far, problem not resolved.

That is a main fan failure, does the fan rotate? What did you discuss with Tech Support and what did they suggest you try?If the fan does not rotate then either the fan is bad or the DC controller is bad. Have you tried another fan? Part number RK2-8068-000CN

I appreciate the information. Your post was a big help in making a decision to return this NEW HP printer to the store. I will not be replacing any parts since it has only been in use at our office for a few weeks. Very disappointed in this product!!!

Had you stated that it was under warranty and that new I would have suggested returning it and not a repair option. We see the odd out of box failure, these devices are often shipped long distances and handling can be rough. We see very few out of box failures on printers.
