Hi @efischer,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue  Error code 71.02.4A on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-In-One Printer indicates a printer failure or a problem with the print system. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve this issue:

Restart the Printer: As per the error message, turn off the printer, wait for a few moments, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.

Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer's access doors and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Clear any jams carefully.

Check Ink or Toner Cartridges: Ensure that all ink or toner cartridges are properly installed and are not empty. Replace any empty or faulty cartridges.

Check for Firmware Updates: Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. If updates are available, follow the instructions to download and install them.

Reset the Printer: Perform a power reset on the printer by unplugging the power cord from the rear of the printer while it is still turned on. Wait for at least 60 seconds, then plug the power cord back in. Turn the printer on and check if the error persists.

Run Printer Diagnostic Tests: Most HP printers come with built-in diagnostic tests that can help identify and resolve issues. Consult your printer's user manual or the HP website for instructions on how to run diagnostic tests specific to your printer model.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
