Hi @donimuzur,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error message "HP" on your laser jet printer screen may indicate a variety of issues with the printer. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check for any paper jams: Open the printer's access door and check for any stuck or jammed paper. Remove any paper that is stuck and clear any jammed paper from the rollers.
- Check the toner cartridges: Ensure that the toner cartridges are installed correctly and that they are not empty or low on ink. Replace any cartridges that are empty or low on ink.
- Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 30 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on again. This may help to clear any temporary errors that might be causing the problem.
- Update the printer driver: Visit the HP website and download the latest printer driver for your model of printer. Install the driver on your computer and then restart your computer.
- Reset the printer: Press and hold the "Cancel" or "Reset" button on the printer for about 10 seconds to reset the printer to its default settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
