Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased HP107W laser printer a few months ago, so it's under warranty.  The power lead into printer seemed a little loose, but all worked fine.  I have not tugged the lead, squashed it, or manhandled it in any way.  I successfully printed a few days ago but yesterday, when I plugged it in, it seemed much looser and the blue 'power on' light wouldn't stay on.  Has anyone else experienced similar?  Can anyone advise if a replacement cable would solve the issue?  I can't imagine HP would accept that it's a fault on their part, so, if a new cable would fix it, I wonder if that's my best way forward, but I don't want to fork out for that if it could be a bigger issue.  P.S.  Having tried it a few times this evening, it won't connect at all.

Thanks for any advice.
