Printer says Y ink cartridge is empty.
I change it.
Now Printer says C cartridge is empty
I change it
Now Printer says M cartridge is empty
I change it
Now Printer says C cartridge is damaged.
I just bought it this morning. Printer did not say that the C cartridge was damaged upon insertion...only after I changed the M cartridge.
I tried setting up with new drivers. Not sure if I did that right, but I followed the instructions so I hope so.
Any ideas? Ready to throw this printer out the window.

Welcome to HP support community.
Clean the cartridge contacts
-
Turn the printer on.
-
Open the door to access to the cartridges.
-
Wait until the carriage stops moving before you continue.
-
Push in on the front of the cartridge indicated in the error message, and then remove it.
-
Wipe the electrical contact on the cartridge with a lint-free cloth.
-
Insert the cartridge into its color-coded slot until it snaps into place.
-
Repeat these steps for any other cartridges indicated in the error message.
-
Close the cartridge access door.
