I'm trying to establish what the various print resolutions are for this Printer.

The technical specification states "Copy resolution is 600 x 600 dpi" and "Print resolution (best) is up to 4800 x 1200 optimised dpi colour (when printing from a computer on selected HP photo paper and Print in Max dpi".

What I'd like to know is what are the dpi resolutions for each of the Print Qualities: Draft, Normal and Best (without Max dpi selected).

Thanks

Graham

Welcome to the HP support community.

There is no particular DPI resolution information available for these printing modes.

However, here is the available information on  DPI resolution.

– Draft: Lowest dpi typically used when ink levels are low or when high-quality prints are not needed.

– Normal: Suitable for most print jobs.

– Best: Better dpi than Normal.

– Print in Max DPI: Highest dpi setting available for print quality.

– HP Real Life Technologies: This feature smooths and sharpens images and graphics for improved print quality.

I hope that helps.
