How do you align the cartridges in the HP DESKJET 3720

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Please note that the printer needs to be connected to a computer to align the cartridges on the printer.

Here is how it is done.

Use HP Printer Assistant to align the ink cartridges in Windows.

1. Load plain white paper into the input tray.

2. Search Windows for the name of your printer, and then click your printer in the list of results.

   HP Printer Assistant opens.

3. Click Maintain Your Printer.

   The printer toolbox opens.

4. On the Device Services tab, click Align Cartridges .

   The printer prints an alignment page with rows of numbered boxes. Each box on the page consists of two sets of lines.

5. On the alignment page, find the box in row A in which the two sets of lines overlap the most, for example, A10.

6. In the printer software, select that box from the A drop-down list.

7. Repeat these steps for each row of boxes on the alignment page.

8. Click Done.

This is a great response--but in my case, there are no prompts or questions after the alignment page prints! Do you have any ideas how to force that dialog to appear?
