Hi @Amber2244,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 2755e showing multiple blinking lights, which can indicate different issues.

Since you’ve already tried troubleshooting steps, let’s go over a few additional suggestions:

1. Check for Error Codes or Flash Patterns

  • Note the flashing pattern: If a series of lights (like the power, ink, or paper lights) are blinking in a specific pattern (e.g., alternating or rapid blinking), the printer may be indicating an error code. Try to count the flashes and check the user manual for any reference to those patterns.

2. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Unplug the printer: Turn the printer off and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds: Leave the printer unplugged for at least a minute to reset the internal circuits.
  • Plug it back in: After a full minute, plug the printer back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear error conditions.

3. Check for Paper Jams HP DeskJet Printers - E4 (Paper jam) error

  • Even though you may have checked already, it’s a good idea to double-check both the paper path and the ink cartridge area for any jammed paper.
  • Open the front panel and gently remove any paper stuck in the rollers.
  • Make sure there is nothing blocking the cartridge movement.

4. Check Ink Cartridges

  • Remove and reinsert ink cartridges: Sometimes, the printer can display errors if the cartridges are not properly seated. Take out the ink cartridges and then carefully reinstall them.
  • Check for damage: Make sure the cartridges are not damaged or leaking.

5. Check the Printer’s Connections

  • Ensure the USB or Wi-Fi connection is stable: If you’re using the printer wirelessly, make sure it is connected to your Wi-Fi network correctly. If you’re using a USB connection, ensure the cable is properly seated and not damaged.

6. Update the Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Sometimes, a firmware update can fix bugs or issues that cause blinking lights.
  • Use the HP Smart app or HP's website to check if a firmware update is available for your printer.

7. Reset the Printer to Factory Settings

  • If the issue persists, you might want to try resetting the printer back to its factory settings. You can usually do this through the printer’s menu or via the HP Smart app. Be aware that this will erase any saved settings.
