@husain_haider78,

Thank you for reaching out to the HP Support community!

Please provide the below information to assist you with an accurate resolution.

  • Do you have any security software or antivirus installed on your PC?
  • The USB port that you are connecting the printer with is that USB 2.0 or USB 3.0?
  • Are you using any USB hub?

Let's try these steps:

Step 1: Power Reset

  • Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector.
  • Turn the printer on.
  • Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Disconnect the USB cable.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait at least 60 seconds
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  • Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  • Re-connect the USB cable
  • Check if the PC identifies the USB connected printer
  • Try to print, if the issue persists proceed to the next step

Step 2: Try another USB port/cable

  • Check if the USB cable works on other PC.
  • Try connecting the printer to a different port and check if that works
  • Try a different USB cable and check if that helps
  • If you are using a USB hub, try to connect the printer directly to the PC and check if it works.
