Hi @Gurkan_ ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP ENVY 6020e All-In-One Printer is giving you a "printer cannot print" error. Here are some common troubleshooting steps to help diagnose and resolve the issue:

1. Check Printer Status

  • Ink Levels: Ensure that the printer has enough ink. Low or empty ink cartridges can prevent printing.
  • Paper Jam: Open the printer and check for any paper jams.
  • Printer Queues: Clear any stuck print jobs in the print queue.

2. Restart the Printer and Devices

  • Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • iOS Device: Restart your iPhone or iPad.

3. Check Wi-Fi Connection

  • Network Connection: Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.
  • Signal Strength: Ensure that the Wi-Fi signal is strong. If the printer is too far from the router, try moving it closer.

4. Update Firmware and Software  Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Printer Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer and update it.
  • iOS and App: Ensure that your iOS device and any relevant printing apps (e.g., HP Smart app) are updated to the latest version.

5. Reset Network Settings

  • Printer Network Reset: Reset the network settings on your printer and reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network. This can be done through the printer’s control panel or settings menu.

6. Use HP Print and Scan Doctor (if accessible)

  • HP Print and Scan Doctor: This is a free tool from HP that can diagnose and resolve printing issues. If you have access to a Windows PC, you can use this tool to troubleshoot the printer.

7. Reinstall the Printer on iOS

  • Remove and Re-add Printer: Go to your iOS device’s settings, remove the printer, and then add it again.

8. Check for Error Messages or Lights

  • Printer Display: Look for any specific error messages or blinking lights on the printer’s display panel that might indicate the problem.

9. Test with Another Device

  • Alternative Device: Try printing from another device (e.g., another iPhone, iPad, or a computer) to determine if the issue is with the printer or the specific device.

Refer to this document:  HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer User manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
