Product: HP ENVY 5020 All-in-One Printer

This HO printer always shows as connected and on line. But,  often cannot find it when want to print. It’s not there or says offline!?  Can usually get it to print in the end but now it’s just not printing anything. It sits there idle and my phone says “trying to print” I’m no technophobe but I don’t know what is wrong. No error messages. Does it need update or reinstalling? Why doesn’t it tell me!?  At the point of throwing it out of the window. HELP!
