I have recently changed my router from Netgear C7300 to AT & T Router BGW210.  Before the router was changed, the printer worked fine.  After the router change, the printer initially was working but after a few minutes showed error code 0xB827B29C.  I unplugged the power cable from the printer, unplugged the ink cartridges, plugged the power cord back on and put the ink cartridges back.  The error code went away.  Now what happens is that once I turn on the printer and the wireless light becomes steady, I can print.  However, after a few minutes, the eprint light goes off or the screen goes off (auto power off is disabled), the printer would disconnect from the network.  At the whole time I can see the printer being connected on the wireless network.  Using usb cable wouldn't work either.  I can turn off the printer and turn it back on again and it will work for a few minutes but the same problem would come back.  How can I fix this problem?  Please help.

I tried HP Print and Scan Doctor but that didn't help.

Thanks.

Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I have gone through your Post and I would like to help

I suggest you Reset the Network Settings to Default

1. Press the Wireless button to access the Wireless Status screen.

2. Press the Settings button to access the Wireless Settings menu.

3. Select Restore to Default.

4. Confirm selection to restore defaults.

Also ensure you change the Auto Power-Off setting

1. From the Control Panel home screen, which displays Copy, Scan, and Quick Forms, select Settings.

NOTE: If you do not see the home screen, press the Back button until you can see it.

2. From the Settings menu on the printer display, select Preferences.

3. From the Preferences menu, select Auto-Off.

4. From the Auto-Off menu, select Off and then press Continue to confirm the setting

Then uninstall the Printer driver from Root Level and download the Full Feature Software and the Firmware

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software and Firmware from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions

Note: Connect the USB only when prompted during the installation

Keep me posted how it goes 👍

Thank you and have a Great Day 😊

Thanks for taking time to help.

I did everything you mentioned - resetted the printer wireless settings, disabled auto-off, uninstalled and re-installed the driver.  After I turned on the printer and the printer was ready, after about 3 minutes, I got an error message from the computer saying that it loses network connection.  When that error message appeared, the printer display was still on and so as wireless and eprint lights.   After that message I couldn't look at printer status or print anything.

Nothing has changed.  There is no improvement.

Let's try assigning a manual IP Address

- Print a Network Config Page from the printer. Note the printer's IP address.

1. Press the Wireless button to access the Wireless Status screen.

2. Press the Settings button to access the Wireless Settings menu.

3. Select Print Report, and then select Configuration Page.

- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250
- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.
- Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS. This is Google DNS. You can choose another external DNS if you wish.
- Click 'Apply'.

Let me know how it goes

Thanks

Thank you for your response.

When I go to Wireless Setup Wizard tab and Advanced tab, I got an error message saying "Your connection is not private" and it was a dead end.

When I go to the Networking tab, this is what I see:

Did I navigate correctly?

Can you tell me what tab I should go?

Some notes

1. I tried disconnect IPV6 but that didn't solve the problem.

2. IPV4 has the ip# I use to get to that page.

3. I have only about 3 minutes to have access to the printer before it goes offline.

Thanks.

I did a semi-full reset on the printer.

The wireless light is blinking and the eprint light is off.

When I check the network status of the printer it says it is "off".

I did a push button setup and the printer is connected to the wireless network.

The problem still persists.  The printer loses connection after ~ 3 minutes, even in the midst of a scanning job.

Thanks.
