I purchased 2 new cartridges (black and tri-color) style 62 for my HP OfficeJet 5740 printer. These are the same type that I used before. I get the message "Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed and then touch OK. My pages always print blank, so I figured it was the ink and hence I bought new cartridges. Any ideas?

Hi,
This is probably a faulty cartridge, can you see the Black cartridge (a Circle) or the Tri-Color (3 dots) indicated above or below the error message?
Please remove the indicated cartridge and close the door, ensure you may print using a Single Cartridge Mode.
Please let me know what exact cartridge is indicated, and if you may print by removing the specific cartridge.
