Hello,

my printer is not able to find my usual Wifi network at home. When trying to connect there is every other network in a huge radius listed, but only my own Wifi he cannot find. Two days ago it worked just fine. My Computer and other devices are able to connect normally to the Wifi. It has to be a problem of the printer. I also restarted the router just in case.

I typed in the network information manually, but it doesn't connect this way either.

I already tried the support agent online and every hp support program and reinstalled the driver.

When the problem first occurred I printed the wireless report and the printer fell into an error mode. This was fixed with pulling the power cords and reseting as I found adviced online for the specific error code. After restarting it didn't come up again, but still can't find my home Wifi to connect with. I also printed the configuration page, but it wasn't much help, since the concerning network is not listed.

Throughout the online support they only give advice on how to act, when there are struggles with the connection, but it doesn't even come to that since it is not listed.

I can still print over the USB connection, but it would be really nice if I could use the wireless version again. I hope I don't have to accept defeat yet.

I would be really thankful for advice.

Thank you for your reply.

The Troubleshooter recommended to run the Print and Scan Doctor again. This only gives options to correct the printing or scanning. Since those are neither part of my problem I couldn't fix the network issue with this yet.

When I run the doctor without USB-connection it directs me to connecting the printer to my home network and type in the IP adress. But this is where I cant proceed to the solution, because when I type in the network ssid and password into my printer he refuses to connect, because "he cannot find the network" so it won't get an IP.

While trying to connect over Wifi-direct and WPS the Error code 0X0076CD51 occurred again. I restarted the printer and tried again but it doesn't connect over wps and Wifi-direct either. It only seems to work over usb any more.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's reset the settings on the Printer: Go to the setup menu>tools>Restore Factory Defaults.

Let me know if this helps.
